March 15, 2024. Predeceased by his son, Timothy James Skye; brother, Hershel J. Twoguns; sisters, Adrian, Barbara, Janice Twoguns; parents, Paul and Christina Twoguns. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy; children, Paul E. Skye, Tracy (Mark) Skye-Meli, Erin (John) Skye-Moore; grandchildren, Jay Skye, Olivia Skye-Moore, John Skye-Moore, Emily Meli; siblings, Richard Elliott, Patricia Hale, Cheryl Huff, Karen Twoguns, William Twoguns, James Twoguns, Paul Twoguns; several nieces and nephews.
John was born on the Six Nations of the Grand River Reservation in Brantford, Ontario and a member of the turtle clan. John was proud of his Native American heritage and devoted many hours as an Artisan making dream catchers, wampum belts, Longhorn Steer Rattles and medicine pouches that he has sold to customers around the world. John was a member of Union Local 13 Pipefitters for fifty years. John will always be remembered for his colorful sense of humor. John was a loving father and always cherished the time he spent with his friends and family.
