Elizabeth  Goodner (Williams)
April 6, 1926 – August 25, 2017
Rochester NY: Elizabeth was born April 6, 1926 to William and Deborah (Jones) Williams in Brecon, Wales and died at home on August 25, 2017. She had lived in California for over 60 years and moved to Rochester in January 2016. Elizabeth is predeceased by her adoring husband Frederick John Goodner; her daughter Ruth Eileen Goodner, and her grandson Nathaniel James Levi. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (William) Miller, Megan (Joseph) Skorupa; grandchildren, Aaron Green, Aleisha (Joseph) Taranto, Stephanie (Samuel) Frame, and Katherine Levi; 5 great-grandchildren; and daughter-by-choice Lori Williams (and her daughter Olivia); several nieces, nephews and dear friends, both here in America, and in her homeland of Wales.

Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a passionate lover of life, with family taking first place. One of her greatest pleasures was hosting family gatherings at her home. She had been a lifelong singer, singing in her native Wales, in her church in Bakersfield, California for her church and other singing groups.

Friends may call Wednesday August 30, 4:00-7:00 pm at Crawford Funeral Home, 495 N. Winton Rd. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday August 31, 2:00 pm at Christ Church, 141 East Ave. In lieu of flowers, please give donations to World Wildlife Fund 1250 24th Street, NW., Wahsington, DC 20037 or to a local food bank of your choice.
