The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Condolence: I did not know Allen very well. We went to 46 school together and then lost touch with each other. We then ran into each other years later in Ontario at softball, at the VFW I think. I always thought he was one of the good guys. Gone way to soon. May Allen's family and friends find peace and comfort and may he rest in peace.

Condolence: Dear Sharon,
I was lucky to have worked with Allen at the AIDS Institute from 2006 until he retired. He was a wonderful colleague - always made us laugh. One time we were at a training together in the Finger Lakes region and my husband and 5 year-old daughter joined me. I introduced them to Allen and we found out that my daughter and Allen have the same birthday. For the next several years, Allen sent a birthday card to my daughter. It was such a thoughtful gesture and touched my heart.
Allen was a wonderful person and I am so sorry for your loss. Dara

Condolence: It was with such sadness that we heard of Allen's passing. We will always remember the great memories and joy of childhood that he brought to all of us with his unrelenting humor and infectious laughter. He always did good for others and loved his family with such an open heart. He showed his love for all of us by staying in touch and always celebrating accomplishments of those in his extended family. Allen will be missed and our blessings are sent to Patricia, Sharon, and all the many who are grieving over his loss.

Condolence: Dear Sharon- I cannot imagine your grief, but I and many others at the State Health Department am eternally grateful that you shared Allen with us. His passion for his clients may have only been eclipsed by his love for you. I will always remember his smile, his laughter and his desire to make the world a better place. He will be sorely missed, but warmly remembered. Peace.
