Obituary for Maureen Holcomb

Maureen  Holcomb
April 12, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Howie Holcomb; children, Ted (Jasmine Chou) and Amy Holcomb; sister, Katherine (Mike) Waterstraat; brother, Terry Mullaly; sisters-in-law, Barbara Mullaly, Kathy Mullaly, Linda Mullaly, Ann (Dick) Fairbank, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, John and Rita Keating Mullaly; brothers, John, Michael and Patrick Mullaly.

Maureen, a native of Spencerport, received a BA and MA from Brockport College. After working as an Education and Development Consultant in Human Resources at Aetna, Maureen returned to college and received a Special Education Certificate at Geneseo. Maureen was a Special Education Teacher for Fairport School District where she had many dear colleagues. She was a member of Asbury First United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer at the Store House. Maureen was also a volunteer for the Asbury URWellness Clinic and Project Chacocente.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 20th, 11 AM at Asbury First United Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave., Rochester 14607. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in memory of Maureen to the Store House at Asbury First.
